Who We Are

Nkanze Child Care Foundation

Nkanze Child Care Foundation is a non-profit making Christian charity and registered N.G.O. (non-governmental organization) established in 2024.

We are located in Makoba Village, Mukono District, Uganda. Our foundation was created with a deep passion to help disadvantaged children who are orphaned, neglected, abandoned, or living in acute poverty.

These vulnerable children are frequently affected by the ravages of HIV/AIDS and desperately need love, care, education, and support.

Nkanze Child Care Foundation is a registered NGO in Uganda.

About Our Founder

Nkanze Vivian

A heart transformed to transform the lives of vulnerable children

Hello well-wishers, my name is Nkanze Vivian, the founder of Nkanze Child Care Foundation located in Makoba Village, Mukono District. I was born on 15th November 2000 in Makoba village.

In accordance to my family background, we are 25 children in total and I am the 18th child. In this highly populated family, life has not been easy for me since my father had many wives and he never bothered to support me through my education.

I was lucky enough and I got someone who put a smile on my face through sponsoring my studies, but unfortunately she died 9 years ago. That is why I said, "This woman who helped me without knowing me — through this, I have to do the same to other children in such situations."

That is why I created the Nkanze Child Care Foundation in Makoba Village with aims of supporting disabilities, orphanages, and all kinds of vulnerable children.

Current Project

Land for Gardening

We are currently looking for funds to purchase a piece of land in our community. This piece of land we are looking forward to buying will serve as a food garden which will help us feed the kids at Nkanze Child Care Foundation.

Furthermore, we will be able to train our children how to grow both food plants and vegetables, teaching them valuable life skills for their future.
